  Privacy policy
EaselWeasel.com is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. (No really, we are.) In the course of shopping at EaselWeasel.com, we will ask you for certain personal information, but we will only use this information to process your order and keep you apprised of its status. Such information may include, but is not necessarily limited to, your billing and shipping addresses, credit card number and expiration date, and contact information such as your phone number and/or email address. We will NOT share, sell, rent, disclose, or otherwise give your information to any party not directly involved in processing your order, and even then we will only give them the minimum needed to do their job (for example, the delivery truck driver will only be given your shipping address).

"Yeah, but won't you use my email address to send me 'Special Offers' or other sale info?"

Many websites do that — we don't. We do have a Guest Book, which you are welcome to sign if you really, really want us to contact you if/when anything truly unusual happens here, but such messages would be an extreme rarity. We don't like excess email messages any more than you do, and the last thing we want is to be thought of as distributors of "spam" (unsolicited and unwanted email marketing messages). We sell art, and we sell it at a really good price. We don't need to keep hitting our customers over the head with that fact — they already know it.

"OK, but what about 'cookies'?"

Cookies are little pieces of text information that many websites place on their visitors' hard drives. It may sound scary and intrusive, and we can't speak for how other websites use this technology, but EaselWeasel.com uses cookies only to keep track of your shopping cart, and your status as a return visitor. Personally, we find it annoying if we're interrupted while placing an order online, then have to start all over again when we return to the store because the website didn't "remember" what was in our shopping cart. Well, cookies play an important role in how most websites remember A). that you're a customer, and B). what's in your shopping cart. If you decide that you're willing to put up with the sort of inconvenience we just described in exchange for greater privacy, feel free to set your browser so that it doesn't accept cookies (you'll find that option in your browser's Preferences).

"Will you be storing my credit card information?"

No, absolutely not. We ask for your credit card information when you are ready to check out, and it is sent immediately through a secure channel to the credit card company, which either authorizes or declines the charge. Regardless of the response, your credit card information is promptly "forgotten" by us, and you will have to enter it anew the next time you check out.

"Do you have a Retention Policy regarding other customer information?"

Yes. If you place an order with us anonymously (that is, without becoming a member of EaselWeasel.com), we will generally store your Name, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Email Address (if any) and Phone Number (if any) for up to 18 months before deleting it permanently. If you decide to register as a member, we will keep the above information indefinitely so that you will always be able to login and shop with us without having to re-enter the above information every time. In any case, however — whether you become a member or not — we will always honor requests to delete your personal information from our records. Simply contact us at privacypolicy@forwallsonly.com and we will be happy to oblige you.

"I notice you have links to other websites. Do they have a similar privacy policy?"

They may, although it's unlikely that their policies are exactly identical to ours. We strongly encourage you to seek out the privacy policy of any online store you visit if this is of concern to you. What we can tell you is that, if you see a link on our website to another business, we trust them to conduct their operations in both a legal and ethical manner, though we also have to tell you honestly that we can't take responsibility for their policies or actions. If you are dissatisfied with a business associate of ours, though, we encourage you to let us know — we do not wish to be associated with businesses that do not treat their customers well.

Please feel free to contact us directly at privacypolicy@g-kdata.com if you have any questions about our privacy policy that are not answered here.
